Mission statement
The mission of G-Men Nation, Inc. is to support the successful growth and lively sustainment of the HBCU football program experience. To that end, the viable foci are to continue to maintain the elite status of being the premier intercollegiate organization in the nation, while providing the guidance and structure that permeate the G-Men band of brothers. As well, the awarding of academic and athletic scholarship will be offered to HBCU students who uphold the high standards of their university, and who devote time and effort to the uplifting of the football program.
Therefore, for assistance in fulfilling the mission, we incorporate the following targeted aims as the vision to catapult and advance the program goals, they are:
- To champion, promote, and preserve interest in the program, among and between alumni and stakeholders.
- To encourage the ongoing and committed participation of alumni and stakeholders when fundraising.
- To enhance the environment and opportunities for student athletes of HBCU football teams, thereby creating memorable collegiate exposure.
- To designate finances and render solid recognition to the G-Men and the University’s HBCU football program; and
- To assist the program toward social change, to include voter registration drives, law enforcement interaction/information seminars, and a myriad of other mentoring type projects.

Moses Shillow

Born and raised in Opelousas, Louisiana. After graduating from Plaisance High School in 1966, he obtained a Bachelor of Science Degree from Grambling State University (formerly Grambling College) with a major in Accounting. Following graduation in January 1970, Moses joined a major oil and gas company where worked for almost 30 years in Dallas, Texas and Anchorage, Alaska.
During his working career, he did further graduate work at the University of North Texas in Denton, Texas, and University of Alaska in Anchorage. With seminary course work at Criswell Bible College and Dallas Theological Seminary in Dallas, Texas, he completed a Master of Divinity at North Carolina Theological Seminary in Clinton, North Carolina in May 2019. He is currently pursuing a Doctor of Theology at North Carolina Theological Seminary. He is currently one of the Pastors at Rockwall Friendship Baptist Church in Rockwall, Texas, under the leadership of Sr. Pastor Shanon Thomas. Also, he serves as an Associate Minister at his home church in Opelousas, Louisiana, Mohorn Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor Nicholas Thomas. He has monthly preaching engagements at Mohorn. He is married to the lovely Ardra Whittley Shillow, and together they have three sons, one daughter, two granddaughters and three grandsons. Together they are active and involved in various church and ministry activities in the Dallas Area. He continues to be available as a teacher, speaker, and evangelist in the areas of Christian education, church finances, and Deacon training. He has a passion for ministering in Pastoral Care. One of his greatest desires is to give strength and comfort to those who have experienced loss and going through many of life difficulties and challenges, especially in their later years. He is a life member of GUNAA and continues to be a strong supporter of GSU. He is a past member and officer in the Grambling University Athletic Association, and a Lifetime member in the G-Men Nation, Inc. Also, for the past 15 years, he has been a supporter and sponsor of the Annual Bayou Classic Christian Fellowship. |
Steven Grant

A native of Charleston, SC, who was recruited in 1986 to play football at Grambling State University for the legendary, Coach Eddie Robinson, where he was a 4-year letterman as a wide receiver (Split End). He signed as a free agent with the Philadelphia Eagles in 1991. He holds a bachelor’s degree in history from Grambling State University (May 1991) and graduate degrees from both GSU (M.S. Sports Administration, 1994) and Louisiana State University-Shreveport (M.Ed. Leadership, 2014). He is married to his college sweetheart, Cindy and they have two children, Stevi (30) and Chris (25).
He is excited to be in his 7th year as the Principal of Green Oaks Performing Arts Academy High. He has 29 years of experience in education. He brings a wealth of knowledge and experience in developing students through education and athletics. Prior to his tenure as Principal at Green Oaks, he spent five years as an Assistant Principal of Administration, Administrative Assistant, and TAP Social Studies Master Teacher at Fair Park High School. He spent the previous 18 years as a social studies teacher and football/track coach at Northwood High (Shreveport), Marshall High (Marshall, TX), and Fair Park High. He is a member of Galilee Missionary Baptist Church (Shreveport), where he serves as a Deacon, Sunday School Teacher, and Men’s Ministry Leader. He is a Lifetime Member of the Grambling University National Alumni Association (GUNAA), member of the GSU Shreveport Alumni Association, and season ticket holder for the Grambling State University Football Team. Ingriul Foster

With 22+ years of experience in marketing, business development, B2B sales, and account management at F500 companies, Ingriul Foster has consistently developed and executed strategies that accelerated successful growth across multiple platforms at an array of healthcare and pharmaceutical companies. In her most recent roles, she leads as a Sr. Growth Disorder Therapy Manager at Novo Nordisk and performs as an active member of the Rufus Harris GSU Alumni Chapter in Birmingham, AL, as well as being a life member of Grambling University National Alumni Association. She began her career at Merck & Company, post-graduation from Grambling State University, with a Bachelor of Science in Marketing and Business Management where she sold various therapeutic products to primary care, specialty, hospitals, and academic institutions. In addition, she developed numerous speakers to educate HCPs, and leveraged managed care opportunities to generate new prescriptions.
In 2008, following multiple promotions, she left Merck & Company, and continued her career in business development, sales, and marketing at notable companies Abbott Laboratories, AT&T, Allergan, and Novobay before onboarding to her current position at Novo Nordisk. To date, she has managed territories with revenues ranging from $8M to $485M during her career. Moreover, she has generated $12B+ in sales through multiple marketing campaigns and new product launches while attaining a dozen prestigious awards for exemplary performance above goal, and numerous accolades for furthering CRM on accounts. Her core expertise besides marketing, sales, and business development includes creating innovative, impactful campaigns and promotions, market analysis, research, networking, presentations, and high-level business negotiations. A key focus for her has been performing initiatives as an active member or in leadership roles within the Alpha Kappa Sorority, National Black MBA Association, National Sales Network, MAGIC Foundation, American Management Association, African Americans in Novo Nordisk, Women in Novo Nordisk, National Pharmaceutical Sales Representative Association, and Black Doctoral Network. She was selected by Novo Nordisk to complete the Wharton Executive Education program and is also a graduate of Webster University where she acquired an MBA, in addition, she is currently pursuing a Doctorate in Business Administration from Walden University. She presently resides in the greater Birmingham Metro area of Alabama. |

Dr. Roderick Henderson

Was born and raised in Brookhaven, Mississippi and is the son of Arlustra and Ella Mae Henderson. He graduated from Brookhaven High School in 1990 and went on to play for the legendary Eddie Robinson at Grambling State University. While at Grambling, Roderick achieved such honors as first team All-Southwest Athletic Conference, All-Louisiana, and first team Sheridan Black All-American. In 1994, he received his Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice and went on to obtain his Master’s, Specialist and Doctoral degrees in Education Leadership from Mississippi College. Roderick has served in the field of education for over 24 years in such capacities as teacher, football coach, principal, deputy superintendent, and currently as superintendent of the Brookhaven School District. He is a member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Incorporated and serves as a Deacon at Mount Missionary Baptist Church. He is married to the former Dr. Stephanie Johnson of Jackson, Mississippi, and they have two sons, Roderick and Michael.

Andre L. Robinson

1981 graduate of Grambling State University and received his Masters in Sports Administration in 2007. Currently retired living in his hometown, Birmingham, Alabama.
As a Hall of Famer inducted into the 2023 Grambling Legend class, he has a plethora of experience in football. As a standout linebacker at A.H. Parker High School in Birmingham, Alabama, he received a football scholarship to Grambling and played five seasons under the legendary “Coach Rob”, Eddie G. Robinson, where he received multiple honors and accolades: 1978 – 1981 Four-Year Letterman, 1981 Kodak All-American, 1981 Associated Press All-American, 1981 Sheridan Press All-American, 1981 Sporting News All-American, 1981 SWAC Defensive Player of the Year, 1981 Grambling State University MVP- First and only time Coach Eddie Robinson selected a defensive player for that award., 1981 Bayou Classic MVP. In 2004, he joined the Grambling State University coaching staff as Linebacker Coach. He also coached special teams and served as the summer camp coordinator. During his tenure, Grambling’s defense gave up only an average of 10 points per game and a few linebackers were named on the All SWAC teams. In 2011, he was appointed as the Grambling State University Interim Head Football Coach. He served as the Defensive Coordinator and Recruiting Coordinator during the 2011-2012 football season. After eight seasons on the Grambling State University’s coaching staff, he returned to Birmingham where he became the Head Football Coach at G.W. Carver High School and eventually back at his high school alma mater, A.H. Parker High School. In 2017, he retired as an educator and football coach. Currently, he works with the USFL as special ambassador and security to the teams. He is enjoying traveling and spending time with his family and his Grambling football teammates. |

Juan A. Renaud

U.S. Army Officer (Retired) currently serves as the Deputy Commissioner for the Kentucky Department of Veterans Affairs (KDVA). He is responsible to advise the Governor on all issues regarding Veterans Affairs and the legislative advisor for policies and bill in support of Veterans and their families.
He has 29 years of active-duty service, he enlisted in the Army on 1 December 1992, after graduating from Grambling State University. He served in multiple military units/ organizations across the United States and in various countries. He has multiple combat tours and operational deployments. While assigned to U.S. Army Central Command, U.S. Embassy, United Arab Emirates (U.A.E.), he was a consultant to the U.S. Ambassador and the U.S Army Country Military Senior Officer Charge at the U.S. Embassy. He was additionally tasked with coordination of contingency plans development and Geo-Political meetings with the U.S. National Representatives and U.A.E. Chief National Representative and the Chief of Defense Advisor/ manager between the Host Nation equivalents and liaison officers from four of the U.S. Military branches of service. He is a native of Opelousas, Louisiana and holds a B.S. degree in Political Science from Grambling State University and a M.A. in Human Resources Development from Webster University. He and his wife Geri (US Army Officer, Retired) and daughter Piper currently reside in Vine Grove, Kentucky. |
Keifer Phillips

Born and raised in Baton Rouge, Louisiana with 24 years of professional managerial experience in the areas of supply chain, operations, and logistics. The Son of Annie Phillips and Larry Mack is a Graduate of McKinley High school where he was a four year letterman in football and where he received All-State HM, All-district 1st team, Defensive Player of the Year, Who’s Who Honor in Football and a Member of the 1990 High School All American Football Team. Attended Grambling State University where he played for the GSU Football Team under Legendary Coach Eddie Robinson. A member of the 1992 National & Heritage Bowl Championship Team, 1994 SWAC Championship Team, 1994 All-SWAC 1st team, SWAC Defensive Player of the Year, 1st Team Black College All American and member of the 1994 Heritage Bowl Team. Happily married to his high school sweetheart Shunn Phillips for 24 years and proud father of their daughter Kylie… Nickname “Block” … Loves shoes and sunglasses. Retired Store Manager, Walmart Store, Inc. His hometown is Opelousas, La where he attended Opelousas Senior High School and graduated in 1988. He played football and earned the honors of All-City, All-Parish, All-District and also earned a Scholarship to play football at Grambling State University. He played under the Legendary Coach Eddie G. Robinson Sr. for four years. While playing for Coach Rob, he was a Four-Year Letterman and was selected as Co-Captain for two-years. He also received the honors of 1st Team All-SWAC and the recipient of the John Gee Award his Senior year. He played on the 1992 Black National Championship Team as well as the 1993 Heritage Bowl Championship Team. He graduated in 1992 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Management. He displays exceptional leadership and management skills, promotes team building and enjoys teaching and training others. He possesses a positive attitude and always encourages others to work hard to be successful. He is inspired daily by his lovely wife Tamie. In his free time, he loves the outside world of landscaping, hunting, fishing, camping and cooking. He currently resides in Opelousas, La.

In 2006, Retired as a “Navy Chief” after serving for 24 years in The United States Navy. In 2021, Retired from Dallas College (Mountain View Campus) as a TRIO Program Director of Student Support Services. Served 3 years as President of the Texas TRIO Association, with over 240 TRIO Programs serving First Generation and Low-Income College Students. Played for the Legendary Coach Eddie G. Robinson on the 1992 National Championship Team and the 1993 Black College Heritage Bowl Championship Team. Graduated from Grambling in 1992 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management and 1995 with a Master’s Degree in Business Administration. Bobby Wilcox, Jr.

Born at Barksdale Air Force Base in Bossier City, Louisiana where he lived several years before later being raised in Alexandria, Louisiana. He attended Bolton High School, playing football, baseball, and ROTC. He was First-Team All-District while playing. His exceptional play on the football field and his sportsmanship led to him receiving a full-ride scholarship to play football for the Grambling State Tigers and the Legendary Coach Eddie Robinson. At Grambling, he was a four-year letterman, a member of the 1989 SWAC Championship team, the 1993 Heritage Bowl Championship Team, and the 1992 Black National Championship Team. In the Fall of 1992, he graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Management. After graduation, he worked as a business manager for 3 years before deciding to return to school to pursue a degree in Education. He attended Northwestern State University where he completed coursework to receive his Alternate Certification to Teach. Upon completion, he decided to take a position teaching special needs students at the high school from which he graduated, as well as become a Football and Basketball Coach. He coached there for seven years before transferring to an Assistant Football, Basketball, and Baseball Coach, at Peabody Magnet High School. While at Peabody Magnet High, he was a part of a dynasty that won two State Championships and six District Championships, with one year being ranked fifth in the nation for an undefeated season. After spending six years at the high school level, he decided it was time, to take his talents to Arthur Smith Middle Magnet where he served as Athletic Director, Head Football and Basketball Coach. His love for the game and passion for instilling academics and athletics in young adolescents was one of his driving forces. In his tenure there he coached his team to a total of 17 District Championships. He currently lives in Pineville, Louisiana with his lovely wife, Sharon who he has been married to for 29 years. Together they have six children and three beautiful grandchildren. In his free time, he enjoys traveling with his family to different destinations, being a referee on Thursday, and those Friday Night Lights during football season.
