Grambling State University has long been a pillar of athletic excellence and community pride. Yet today, that legacy stands at risk under the failed leadership of Dr. Trayvean Scott as Vice President for Intercollegiate Athletics. Under his watch, the department has suffered from mismanagement, low morale, recruitment struggles, and declining credibility. The lack of vision, accountability, and progress is not just disappointing—it’s dangerous to the future of our programs. We have raised these concerns formally with President Martin Lemelle, as well as the University of Louisiana System, requesting Dr. Scott’s immediate removal. But instead of urgent action, we have received vague responses and deferrals. The time for delay has passed. We call on the Grambling community—alumni, students, athletes, and supporters—to stand united in demanding leadership that matches our proud tradition. Grambling deserves better. Our student-athletes deserve better. And we will not be silent. Join us in holding leadership accountable. Share your voice. Demand change. #GramblingDeservesBetter #AccountabilityNow #ProtectTheG
